Mini Bio
Back in 2001, I gave up a career as a surveyor and co-founded Wilderness Scotland. Everyone thought we were wild at the time, and they were probably right. We were, however, determined and incredibly enthusiastic to share our passion for Scotland’s wild places. More than two decades on, and I’m proud to be part of an amazing team of individuals who are committed to providing the very best experiences possible and supporting the environments and communities where we work.
Favourite Place to Play
In Scotland, it would have to be Perthshire; it’s often overlooked as travellers pass through on their way north, deeper into the Highlands, but they’re missing out on a region filled with history, culture and a thriving culinary scene.
South of the border in England, it would be the Yorkshire Dales – picture-perfect scenery and some of the best pubs you’ll find anywhere in the world.
Over in Ireland, it’s a cliché, but the Burren really is a unique, almost otherworldly landscape.
My Bucket List Itinerary
I’ve been lucky enough to work with some extraordinary people and places throughout my career, but there are still experiences that feel genuinely once-in-a-lifetime. A private opening of one of the country’s most elusive private art collections, brought to life by the collector themselves, is an opportunity I would love to help make a reality.
