Mini Bio
I love to travel, explore and experience new places and cultures. My wanderlust has led me to live and work in England, the US, China and Jordan.
I started my career as a Chartered Engineer and project manager. I soon began applying those skills to new industries and locations. My family went on an adventure, moving to the Middle East. There, I started an experiential travel company, creating amazing tours that allowed travellers to engage with the local community in Jordan.
On returning to the UK, I began to see my home country with new eyes. I started to explore the cities, countryside and local experiences that make the country such a stunning place. There are so many hidden gems, beautiful accommodations, tranquil places, quirky traditional pubs and restaurants. I’m excited to be creating tours that showcase the culture and beauty of the UK and Ireland.
Favourite Place to Play
I live on the edge of the Lake District National Park in northwest England, and love exploring the dramatic scenery that inspired countless poets and artists. We’re lucky to be surrounded by charming local villages, cosy pubs and some of the region’s best restaurants. Cumbria, where I live, is the county with the most Michelin-star restaurants in the country outside of London.
My Bucket List Itinerary
I would love to introduce guests to a local shepherd. He’ll share tales of life in the rolling countryside while the sheepdogs work. The skill of the shepherd and his partnership with the dogs to instruct them through whistles alone is remarkable to watch. In spring, there is usually a lamb or two in need of bottle-feeding, which is a charming taste of country life.
