Mini Bio
I am originally from Ontario in Canada, and I have a deep love for history, art and architecture, which I studied at university.
My love of history led me to study abroad for two summers in Europe, where I deepened my appreciation for the benefits of travel and of experiencing new cultures. My adventures quickly led to a deep-seated desire to travel to the UK, where I explored the rolling countryside and rugged coastlines, admired the stunning architecture and learned all that I could about the fascinating history that’s around every corner.
What began as a two-year adventure has turned into a permanent move across the pond. I have been fortunate to have lived in England, Wales and Scotland, and now consider the Scottish Highlands home.
Favourite Place to Play
The Moray Coast in northeast Scotland is an undiscovered gem of white-sand beaches and picturesque fishing villages. On a sunny day, you can find me wandering the beach, or indulging in a waterfront sauna followed by exploring local antique shops and independent pottery studios.
My Bucket List Itinerary
My mother’s side of the family is from Scotland and England. I would love to create an itinerary to work with a genealogist to trace family heritage before travelling in the footsteps of the clients’ ancestors to visit their ancestral homes. What a beautiful way to engage with the landscape.
