Mini Bio
I grew up in Sligo and lived in Galway for four years, both located on Ireland’s dramatic west coast. I have two dogs who love the beach, so you can usually find me on the sand. I also enjoy reading, cooking, and travelling.
Working for Wilderness Private Travel is the perfect way for me to share my passion for visiting new places and experiencing new things. My postgraduate degree in Social Policy is very useful in my current role!
Favourite Place to Play
I have such fond memories of Galway; it’s a cultural and vibrant city. I also really enjoy visiting Ireland’s islands, like Inis Meain and Inishbofin, where it’s lovely to hear Irish being spoken natively. I feel very fortunate to live in Sligo, where we have so many beautiful beaches right on our doorstep.
My Bucket List Itinerary
My ideal itinerary includes a unique Irish music session, away from the typical bustling pub atmosphere. We will meet a local couple who gladly welcome you into their home, where they have been entertaining friends and musicians for many years. Sitting around the fire, playing music, telling stories, dancing, and enjoying eating have been the traditions in rural Ireland for centuries. Irish traditional music has endured better than most European folk music, and the pair will chat to us about its origins, play us some tunes, and share their insights into life on the west coast of Ireland.
